Prague Airport Winter 2026/2027: 20 New Destinations and Airlines

Prague Airport has launched its winter 2026/2027 flight schedule, offering travellers more destinations across Europe, Asia and popular holiday regions. The new timetable takes effect on October 25, 2026, and will remain in place until March 27, 2027.

According to Prague Airport's official announcement, the winter programme includes 145 destinations served by 69 airlines. That is 12 more destinations than the previous winter season, with 20 new destinations included in the schedule.

The airport expects to handle more than 6.5 million passengers during the winter season, reflecting the growing importance of travel outside the traditional summer holiday period.

Prague Airport Adds 20 New Destinations

The new winter schedule offers a broader choice of European city breaks, winter sports destinations and long-haul journeys. The new routes include services to France, Italy, Norway, Kazakhstan and Vietnam, alongside additional holiday destinations.

Among the European additions are Lille in France, Palermo and Turin in Italy, Venice in Italy and Bergen in Norway. These routes give passengers more opportunities to plan short breaks and explore destinations during the colder months.

The expanded network also includes direct flights to destinations near popular winter sports areas, making Prague a useful departure point for travellers planning ski holidays.

New Flights to Hanoi and Almaty

One of the notable developments is the addition of long-haul connections to Hanoi, Vietnam, and Almaty, Kazakhstan, operated by Vietjet.

The Hanoi connection offers another travel option for passengers interested in visiting Vietnam, while Almaty provides access to Kazakhstan's largest city and the surrounding mountain region.

These destinations broaden Prague's winter network beyond traditional European routes. Travellers should check the airline's booking system for operating days, journey times and availability before making plans.

More Winter Holiday Options in Thailand and Beyond

Prague Airport's winter schedule also includes charter flights to popular long-haul holiday destinations.

Neos is scheduled to operate charter flights to Phuket in Thailand. TUI Airways will serve La Romana in the Dominican Republic and Sihanoukville in Cambodia as part of the announced programme.

These services add more choices for travellers looking for warm-weather holidays during Europe's winter months. As charter flights may be sold as part of holiday packages, passengers should confirm whether seats are available for standalone bookings or only through a tour operator.

easyJet Adds Flights to Marrakech and Newcastle

easyJet is scheduled to introduce a new direct service from Prague to Marrakech, Morocco, during the winter season. The route creates another option for travellers seeking a winter break in North Africa.

The airline is also planning to continue flights to Newcastle in the United Kingdom during winter, extending a connection that was previously associated with the summer timetable.

Marrakech is known for its historic medina, traditional markets, gardens and cultural attractions. Its milder winter climate can make it an appealing destination for travellers looking for a change from colder weather in Central Europe.

Passengers should check easyJet's official website for the first operating date, flight frequency and available fares.

Smartwings Launches Scheduled Flights to Lisbon

Smartwings is scheduled to launch regular flights between Prague and Lisbon during the winter timetable. The Portuguese capital offers visitors historic neighbourhoods, riverside attractions, museums and access to nearby coastal destinations.

Lisbon is also a popular starting point for exploring other parts of Portugal. Travellers planning longer stays can consider combining the city with destinations such as Sintra or the Atlantic coast, depending on their travel dates.

The route adds another option for passengers travelling between Central Europe and Portugal during the winter season.

Direct Flights for Ski Holidays

Travellers planning winter sports holidays will also have new options from Prague.

SkyAlps is scheduled to offer flights to Bolzano in northern Italy, providing access to the South Tyrol region and nearby Alpine ski areas. Wizz Air will operate flights to Poprad in Slovakia, which offers access to the High Tatras mountain region.

These routes may be attractive to passengers seeking mountain scenery, skiing and winter outdoor activities. Before booking, travellers should check airport transfers, ground transport and the distance between the arrival airport and their chosen resort.

Airlines Increase Flights to Belgrade, Istanbul and Seoul

In addition to new destinations, several airlines are increasing frequencies on existing routes from Prague.

  • Air Serbia: Prague–Belgrade services are planned to increase from nine to 11 flights per week.
  • Pegasus Airlines: Flights between Prague and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen are planned to increase from 14 to 17 per week.
  • TAP Air Portugal: Services to Lisbon are scheduled to increase from seven to eight flights per week.
  • Korean Air: Flights to Seoul are planned to increase from three to four per week.

More frequent services can provide passengers with additional departure choices and greater flexibility when planning connecting journeys. Actual schedules may vary by date, so travellers should confirm details before purchasing tickets.

London Remains Prague's Busiest Destination

London is expected to remain the most frequently served destination from Prague during the winter schedule, with up to 12 flights per day.

Frankfurt and Amsterdam are each scheduled to have up to seven daily flights, while Istanbul and Tel Aviv are each planned to have up to six daily flights.

The high frequency of services to these cities reflects their importance for business travel, tourism and onward connections to other international destinations.

What the New Schedule Means for Travellers

The winter 2026/2027 programme gives passengers departing from Prague a wider selection of destinations and airlines. New routes may be useful for travellers planning European city breaks, ski holidays, long-haul trips or winter sunshine escapes.

For passengers looking beyond Europe, Hanoi and Almaty expand the airport's long-haul options, while charter services to Phuket and other holiday destinations offer additional seasonal choices.

The schedule also provides more frequent flights on selected routes, including Belgrade, Istanbul, Lisbon and Seoul. These increases may help passengers find departure times that better fit their travel plans.

Travel Advice Before Booking

Passengers planning to fly from Prague this winter should keep a few points in mind:

  • Check the airline's official website for the confirmed operating dates and flight times.
  • Verify baggage allowances and any additional fees before purchasing a ticket.
  • Check whether charter flights can be booked independently or only as part of a holiday package.
