NANTES, France — Nantes Atlantique Airport is expanding its international network for the 2026/2027 winter season with new direct connections to destinations in Egypt, Cape Verde, Belgium and Morocco.
The latest additions include flights operated by Transavia France and easyJet, giving passengers in western France more options for winter holidays, city breaks and visits to family and friends.
Transavia Opens New Routes to Egypt and Cape Verde
Transavia France has introduced two new destinations from Nantes as part of its winter 2026/2027 programme.
The airline launched its direct service to Cairo on October 28, with one weekly flight scheduled on Wednesdays. The route provides another connection between western France and the Egyptian capital.
Another new service connects Nantes with São Vicente in Cape Verde. The route began on October 30, with one weekly flight scheduled on Fridays.
These additions strengthen Transavia's leisure network from Nantes, particularly towards destinations offering warmer weather during the European winter.
easyJet Adds Brussels and Essaouira
easyJet has also expanded its Nantes network with two new direct routes.
The airline launched flights to Brussels on October 26, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
A second route connects Nantes with Essaouira, Morocco. Flights began on October 27 and operate twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The new connections offer additional travel options for passengers travelling to Belgium and Morocco, including those visiting relatives or planning leisure trips.
