Vietnam Airlines will launch daily nonstop flights between Da Nang, central Vietnam, and Singapore on November 17, 2026, expanding its international network and strengthening direct air links between the two destinations.
The new service will operate seven days a week using Airbus A321 aircraft. According to the airline, the addition of Da Nang will increase Vietnam Airlines' total service between Vietnam and Singapore to 42 round-trip flights per week
Flight Schedule and Aircraft
Flights from Da Nang International Airport are scheduled to depart at 3:00 p.m. local time. The return service from Singapore Changi Airport is scheduled to depart at 7:45 p.m. local time.
The route will be operated with the Airbus A321, a narrow-body aircraft widely used on regional and medium-haul routes.
Passengers should check the airline's booking system for the latest schedules, flight numbers, fares and availability before travelling, as operating details may change.
Vietnam–Singapore Flights Increase to 42 Weekly Round Trips
Before the new route begins, Vietnam Airlines operates 14 round-trip flights per week between Hanoi and Singapore, as well as 21 round-trip flights per week between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore.
The seven weekly round trips from Da Nang will bring the airline's total frequency between Vietnam and Singapore to 42 round trips per week.
The new connection will provide travellers from central Vietnam with a direct option to reach Singapore, a major regional centre for tourism, business and onward international connections.
Tourism Demand Supports the New Route
Vietnam Airlines identifies Singapore as an important source market for international visitors to Vietnam. The airline reported that arrivals from Singapore increased by 29.8% year on year during the first nine months of 2026.
Da Nang is known for its beaches, coastal resorts and cultural attractions. The city also provides access to destinations across central Vietnam, including Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Sanctuary and Hue, making it an appealing base for visitors interested in combining beach holidays with cultural sightseeing.
The direct connection is expected to offer additional travel options for both leisure and business passengers. However, the airline has not provided a quantified forecast of how many additional visitors the route will generate.
Part of Vietnam Airlines' International Expansion
The Da Nang–Singapore service is part of Vietnam Airlines' broader international network expansion in 2026. The airline has introduced services to destinations including Amsterdam, Colombo and Phuket.
It has also announced plans to launch Hanoi–Ahmedabad flights on November 3 and Hanoi–Hangzhou flights on November 22, 2026.
These developments reflect the carrier's focus on strengthening international connections for tourism, trade and business while expanding travel options between Vietnam and overseas markets.
