Travellers planning a winter holiday in Morocco will have new flight options from Germany this season. Discover Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, is expanding its Moroccan network with new direct services from Frankfurt to Agadir and from Munich to Fez.

The seasonal routes are scheduled to operate from late October 2026 until the end of March 2027, giving passengers additional options for beach holidays, cultural visits and winter escapes.

Which New Routes Are Being Added?

According to Discover Airlines' official announcement, the expansion includes two routes:

• Frankfurt to Agadir: Two flights per week, scheduled for Mondays and Fridays.
• Munich to Fez: One flight per week, scheduled for Sundays.

The airline says the flights are planned to operate between late October 2026 and late March 2027. The approximate flight time is four hours, although actual journey times may vary.

Travellers should confirm departure dates, flight times, fares and availability directly with the airline before booking.

Why Is Agadir a Popular Winter Destination?

Agadir is a coastal city in southern Morocco, known for its Atlantic beaches and mild climate. It can appeal to travellers looking for a break from colder European winter weather.

Visitors can enjoy the seafront, explore local markets, try Moroccan food and plan excursions into the surrounding region. Nature lovers may also consider visiting Souss-Massa National Park, subject to opening arrangements and tour availability.

Before travelling, compare accommodation prices and local transport options, and check the weather forecast for your dates.

What Can Visitors Discover in Fez?

Fez offers a different kind of Moroccan holiday. Its historic medina is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for traditional crafts, historic architecture and lively markets.

Visitors can explore the old city with a local guide, discover traditional workshops and sample Moroccan cuisine. The narrow streets can be difficult to navigate, so comfortable walking shoes and a little advance planning are useful.

The new Munich connection provides another direct option for travellers interested in Morocco's cultural heritage rather than a beach-focused holiday.

How the New Routes Help Winter Travellers

Seasonal flight schedules give travellers more choices when planning trips around school holidays, winter breaks and long weekends.

The Frankfurt–Agadir service may suit passengers looking for a coastal holiday, while the Munich–Fez service offers access to one of Morocco's historic cities. These routes may also be useful for visitors connecting through Germany, depending on their tickets and connection times.

Passengers making connections should check whether their flights are booked on one ticket and confirm baggage-transfer arrangements with the airline.

Tips Before Booking a Winter Flight to Morocco

• Compare the complete fare, including baggage and seat-selection fees.
• Check passport validity and entry requirements for your nationality.
• Confirm airport transfer arrangements before arrival.
• Review the airline's change and cancellation conditions.
• Check the latest timetable, as seasonal schedules can change.

The Bottom Line

Discover Airlines is expanding its winter 2026–2027 schedule with direct flights from Frankfurt to Agadir and Munich to Fez. The additional routes give travellers more ways to reach Morocco for a coastal escape or a cultural city break.

Because these are seasonal services, passengers should verify their chosen travel dates and flight details before making other reservations.
