What Do the New Routes Mean for Travellers?
The new services expand Air France's direct connections between Paris and North America. They also give passengers in the United States another way to reach Paris and connect to destinations across the airline's international network.
For travellers departing from other countries, connecting through Paris may be an option, depending on their origin, ticket and onward schedule. Passengers should compare the full journey, including connection times and baggage conditions, before booking.
Which Aircraft Will Operate the Flights?
Both routes are planned to use the Airbus A350-900, a long-haul widebody aircraft used by airlines on international services. The aircraft type is confirmed in Air France's announcement, although travellers should always check their individual booking for the latest operational information.
